Very positive experience! We rented a 4x4 Dacia Duster for 8 days. On the road we got a flat tire, but the spare one was in excellent condition. The owner was helpful and responsive on what's app. At the very end they split costs for the flat tire between the renting company and us which was super nice!

Only with vehicles from our 4x4 / F-Road category, check the "Highland: Yes/No" tag on each car before booking. Off-road driving off marked routes is illegal in Iceland.
Any of our 2WD models handle the paved Ring Road comfortably. For the Highlands and F-roads, choose a 4x4 or roof-tent camper built for rougher terrain.
Conditions can change quickly, especially in mountainous or coastal areas. Always check road.is and vedur.is before heading out, and drive to conditions, not the speed limit.
